Your Children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself. They come through you but not from you. And though they are with you they belong not to you. You may give them your love but not your thoughts. For they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls, for their thoughts dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams. Kahlil Gibran

Farmer's Market

Every Saturday there is a Farmer's Market and People's Market. Paul and Niko went to scope things out while Willow and I tried maneuvering through the crowd with an oversized jogger.
Then our cold loving boy needed to seek out shade. He wilts quickly in the sun. So, Willow and I joined him.
Niko was pleased that a former student of mine, Ka, gave us some huckleberries. Having been his teacher, he never wants us to pay for the fruits or vegetables his family sells. It is good to see he is doing so well since coming to the US after leaving very tough circumstances in his home country years ago.

Willow always has a snack of cereal or crackers. She loves carbohydrates! At least this cereal as kamut and other whole grains.

Niko told her to give him a kiss and then he took this photo.
It has been good to do some lounging around.
The next photo could have been Niko helping Willow to climb the tree but I was not thinking of my camera then. She had no fear, of course.
Willow wanted to try doing the rings after she saw Niko do them. She wants to do everything he does. Her upper body strength is amazing.
