Your Children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself. They come through you but not from you. And though they are with you they belong not to you. You may give them your love but not your thoughts. For they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls, for their thoughts dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams. Kahlil Gibran

Santa's Workshop Northpole

As soon as we entered Santa's Workshop Willow headed right for the snow pile. She loves snow.
We watched the Christmas Caper play which hasn't changed since I was a kid. Santa makes a grand entrance on his sleigh pulled by real reindeer.
One of Niko's favorites is the outdoor marshmallow fire pit. This year he upped the experience with a smore kit.

The North Pole itself is highlight.

My favorite place as a kid, and my brother's, and Niko's is the toy workshop itself. It is also Willow's because you can move the lever and watch the toys move on the assembly line.

Willow seemed a bit confused about what to call the "pony reindeers."

Another favorite attraction is the player piano at the restaurant. Here is Willow playing her pretend piano to the music.

Niko loves the roller coaster and really enjoyed bringing his sister on for her first experience. She wasn't afraid at all and when the worker clipped her in she said, "Buckle up for safety." The are in the third car in. Willow is just that glimmer of a hat above the top. She loved it.
There is always a meltdown at some point in the day when a nap need is not met.
We got in the last train ride of the day.

We got to see the reindeer grazing out in the snowy woods.
