Your Children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself. They come through you but not from you. And though they are with you they belong not to you. You may give them your love but not your thoughts. For they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls, for their thoughts dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams. Kahlil Gibran

Late Leprechauns

Last Friday night Niko announced he must make his leprechaun trap...granted that was at least a week after St. Patrick's Day. He hasn't missed making a trap since he was 4 years old, so we reassured him that the entire Month of March is good for catching leprechauns. His Aunt Mary's trip to Ireland a few years ago really kept his interest alive when she returned with books, a penny whistle and tales of looking for leprechauns in the green hills,

Look at Lil' Pup's head peaking over...he loves a project.

About this point I went to bed, but Niko was not going to stop until his design was finished.
This is what I saw in the morning...suspended from the ceiling? I hadn't expected that.

Here is where I would post Niko with his gold bar chocolate that the leprechauns left the next night, but Paul took the camera on a ski trip in Washington State and I think he took my SD card with photos on it. (Found it!)
